BAMS is a full-fledged undergraduate medical degree recognised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). It qualifies graduates to practice as registered Ayurvedic physicians and surgeons.

Our intake is 100 students per academic year, admitted through the state's NEET-based UP AYUSH counselling process, and the course is delivered under affiliation to Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

Who Can Apply

Academic Requirement

10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) from a recognised board, meeting the minimum aggregate prescribed by NCISM.

Entrance Exam

A valid NEET (UG) score, followed by participation in UP AYUSH state counselling for seat allotment.

Minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission, per current NCISM norms.

What is the minimum attendance requirement?

Students must maintain the minimum attendance percentage prescribed by NCISM in both theory and clinical postings to be eligible to sit university examinations.

Is ragging tolerated on campus?

No. The college enforces a strict zero-tolerance anti-ragging policy through a dedicated Anti-Ragging Cell, in line with UGC and NCISM regulations.

Is hostel accommodation compulsory?

Hostel accommodation is available on campus and recommended, but day-scholar students from the local area may also enrol without taking hostel facilities.
